Broadlane has 2 or 3 departments that behave normally with normal business hours and expectations. These include HR and Finance. Expect insanity in all other groups.

The executive branch are a bunch of workaholic operations guys and gals who'd much rather be working than with their families. They expect the same of their employees, and only grudgingly sign off on HR policies the encourage work/life balance. Broadlane offers decent pay and benefits, but because the executives believe they do all the hard work, no processes really stick. What does this mean? Even with the decent pay, you will end up working 10 to 12 hours a day. Promotions are doled out to those who live this same way - work first, life second. Simply the most miserable work experience I have ever had - you will notice a striking dichotomy in what the executives say and how they behave. A notoriously petty environment.
