The good:
The Leadership team has made good efforts to communicate what they could without causing too much disruption in the integration activities of Roche/GNE. Although there have been layoffs, my department has been hiring project managers like crazy. It is good to see that my company is still hiring in the mist of the largest recession in the US to-date. I am also happy to known that many of our GNE benefits will remain the same for the next year-including 90% paid medical benefits. A lot of employees are trying to keep with the GNE culture and the positive atmosphere is always appreciated. There continues to be lively ho-ho's and small event game throughout campus. The company offers free seasonal flu-shots and even designed training courses that offers free Tamiflu drugs in the event of a pandemic.
