The good:
If youre a recovering person, and feel the need to give back- fine, this is the place for you, be warned though that you'll make less than other places around for the same job type, and if youre not directyl involved in filling the beds, youll be shat on.
The bad:
Our current Director, after our older one recently passed, is apparently only concerned with filling up the beds, we as Nurses in the place are not respected. Example: We recently had a patient code on us, the lady was unresponsive, and one of our wonderful nurses performed CPR and other measures and brought this lady from no pulse to awake and asking for more food, a good thing right? Well. our Director Robert P didnt acknowledge her effort at all, and The D.O.N. gave her one Charlie Buck( a rewartd ticket) - meanwhile I saw our Director hand an admissions guy 4 charlie bucks for what he said was " a great job in admissions". Kinda tells ya where we stand huh? I would recommend this company because I like the concept and the patients- although difficult at times are wonderful, Sad that the leadership is so inept, and doesnt realize that if this nurse had not brought this patient back from dead, They would be answering many questions. So much for the claims about caring for their employees- Id suggest that if you do work here, do not go the extra mile for them as they wont for you.
