More than just a good fruit

The good:

My team is made up of top performers who are eager to get the best ideas out. As a project manager, I am given the opportunity to balance my PM skills as well as engage in the latest technology discussions. The people here are largely very friendly and family oriented. The medical/health benefits are good and Apple product discounts add to the excitement. I've been here now for a few months and I love it. The opportunities seems to be endless and I can't wait to explore.

The bad:

I have been equipped with the latest Apple gear which could be good or bad for those who may be more PC oriented. Certain buildings on campus seems to be overcrowded with people so try to avoid conducting meeting in those areas. Sometimes being a newbie on campus can be difficult because some may not want to give you the time or day.

Fun but Aging Company Culture

The good:

Great employee purchase program up to 30% on Apple products, and 15% for friends and family discount Typically managers care immensely about the people who work for them Friendly co-workers

The bad:

Overall aging employee population equates to zero or minimum social opportunities. After 5PM, my coworkers head home to their families rather than go out. Employee morale is not as high as it could have been. Managers don't pay too much attention to it since "We don't work here for the money". Apple does not invest into long term projects. For instance office rooms are packed with 2 or more people while the construction of the new campus has been postponed for another 2 years.
