Texas-New Mexico Power Company (TNMP), First Choice Power, L. P. and Altura Power L.P. PNM is an integrated public utility with regulated operations primarily engaged in the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, transmission, distribution and sale of natural gas, and unregulated operations primarily focused on the sale and marketing of electricity in the western United States. PNM began service to TNMP's New Mexico customers effective January 1, 2007. TNMP is a regulated utility operating in Texas and in New Mexico. In Texas, TNMP provides regulated transmission and distribution services. First Choice is a competitive retail electric provider operating in Texas. In January 2009, the Company's New Mexico utility, PNM, completed the sale of its natural gas operations to New Mexico Gas Company.
