Celsion recently completed a Phase I dose escalation study on the treatment of liver cancer and is nearing completion of a second Phase I study related to the use of a single vial formulation of ThermoDox. Celsion is pursuing primary liver cancer as its lead indication for ThermoDox. The Company is also evaluating the possibility of using ThermoDox or other chemotherapeutic agents encapsulated in its heat activated liposome to treat other cancers.
